audioWAV Joins New Balance Benefit Run for Cancer
September 17, 2009audioWAV along with hundreds of avid runners will gather together for a noble cause in the wee hours of the morning of September 27, 2009 at the Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. The event is called The New Balance Power Run: Raising Hope and the cause is cancer awareness. New Balance and its event partners such as audioWAV seek to raise hope for cancer patients and raise cancer awareness. Online registration is ongoing at www.newbalance.com.ph, while onsite registration will start at 5:30AM. Distances are 21, 10, 5 and 3 kilometers.
audioWAV will be present not only as a sponsor but as a runner as well. The management and staff will be among the runners for different distances. In line with the company’s passion for health and wellness, all the staff who registered for the marathon were given brand new New Balance running shoes. The New Balance store at the nearby mall was treated to several exciting evenings as large groups of cheerful audioWAV employees selected and tried on their preferred running shoes in preparation for the coming marathon.
The New Balance Power Run: Rasining Hope will be documented by television, radio and print media and promises to be a thrilling day for cancer awareness.

OFFICIAL ADVISORY: The NB Power Run Raising Hope for September 27 is postponed due to typhoon ondoy. For the safety of all participants the event is moved to November 29, 2009 (Sunday) same venue. Please keep your race kits for additional perks. Kindly check your favorite running blogs and other media for further announcement. Thank you for your cooperation.
